Charlie is a qualified fly casting instructor with the Game Angling Instructors Association. He has won many fly casting competitions including the CLA Game Fair.
Charlie also has access to a private lake and a stretch of the River Rye at Nunnington, both stocked with brown trout.
Fly fishing should be all about relaxing and unwinding. Feel the satisfaction of making a good cast. Challenge yourself to cast further and more accurately. Practice in your garden, challenge your friends to a casting competition. Make it fun.
There are a multitude of books and videos that, in my opinion, complicate things for the novice and expert. I simplify everything. I make it fun, entertaining and most importantly RELAXING.
I supply all the equipment and can demonstrate that you don't need to spend a small fortune on equipment. We start with the basics and take it from there. After a session you should have the confidence to fish anywhere.
